Initially, I wanted to show some of our photos taken on our outing to KT and KB last weekend. However, there was an error in loading and my PA had to go to bed.It was already past midnight and she has to get up early for school tomorrow.
The weather in Kuantan has been really hot recently. After taking a shower for my maghrib prayers, Dato' Sak entered the bathroom for his turn. "Why is the bathroom hot? Is the heater on?" He walked towards the shower head and held it in his hand..refusing to believe me when I said the heater has been spoilt for a month! hahaha
I told him its probably my body heat clouding the air in the bathroom like when you pour cold water over a hot kuali you know?
I had a scary thought too. When my late mum passed away, the ladies who bathed her remains told my sister not to be so sorrowful. They said she is InsyaALLAH alright. During the 'bathing' the water that flowed below her was Alhamdullillah very cooling. For.. there were instances where the water that flowed were hot and you can probably deduce why..
And I know I am miles and miles behind my late mum's intensity in performing the religious department.
O yes yes..I wanted to share Dato's brief stopover this afternoon where the dewan sitting was currently in progress. He wanted to see the MB for a short chat during breaktime. And what did he have to say?
"Dato' Nan was extremely kind and friendly to me. I am so happy Da.He was very chatty and I felt so good inside. Many of the Aduns came to salam with me. They did not look down on me. One of the Excos even mentioned that the Dewan sitting is now 'quiet' without me. I just smiled."
Yes Dato' was always the noisy bubbly presenter during his one term as Adun. But he is looking forward to his new post as the special economics officer to the Pahang MB. Though officially he has not started this post, the letters that always arrive at our home, address him in this manner.
I am so glad Dato' Seri MB is always nice to us. Some may say he is unfriendly and fierce. Thankfully he has always been a good friend to us.Though we meet him once in a while, he never ceases to smile warmly at us.
Thank you Dato' Seri for always being kind to us. Thank you. May ALLAH Bless you and your family with lots of good health and happiness always.

"Jauhari jua yang mengenali maanikam". I think that is the most apt phrase in Malay to describe that relationship between the MB and the both of you. Unfortunately the system is such that the best may not the person elected.
I am so happy to know that Dato' will be taking up the position soon and with his expert advice, less mistakes involving the Rakyat's money will be made.

We were at 1-Utama around 2 till about 4petang.Then we went off to see my son's girlfriend at Mid-Valley to pass her a packet of beef serunding and a piece of silk batik I got her from Pasar Payang.
I left Dato for quite a while at Delifrance 1-Utama for him to sip some coffee and makan roti plus banana-split ice-cream while he entertained himself with his blogging.I went gallavanting at the ladies section to get myself some Mother's Day makeup offer! hahaha
Nevermind..we'll meet up someday soon.
Sekejap lagi we'll be driving back to Kuantan.Somebody is snoring and catching a nap to recharge himself before the 3 hour drive!hehe
